Algeria and Tunisia on list safe countries
Asylum seekers from safe countries make almost no chance of an asylum permit. That writes Secretary of Saha Deen (security and justice) Tuesday to the House. Asylum seekers from safe countries are accelerated. After a rejection they should leave immediately and Netherlands they get a re-entry ban for the entire Schengen area.
A country is a safe country if people there cannot be prosecuted on the basis of, for example, race or faith and there is no torture or inhuman treatment.Â Algeria and Tunisia are considered to be safe, except for lhbt'ers (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender women). In Ukraine and Georgia are subject to an exception for areas where the authorities do not have the power.
