Morocco understands hurricane victims Haiti

King Mohammed VI has on behalf of the Moroccan people sent a message to the Haitian president Jocelerme Privert.

Hurricane Matthew founded huge damage in Haiti and the United States, among others. The death toll in Haiti has risen to a thousand people. That forced the country even mass graves. The United Nations has asked for 100 million euros for aid to the country. King Mohammed VI has meanwhile sent a message of condolences to the president.

In the message that he with keen interest and with great sadness has taken notice of the extent of damage and casualties that Hurricane Matthew has done. He showed on behalf of himself and the people sincere condolences with families of the victims and wish the wounded a speedy recovery.

Matthew has also in the United States-in particular in North Carolina-human lives. The death toll is now at 18 people. The hurricane has since been toned down.
