Morocco unveils world's first electric pickup truck

The national transport and logistics company (SNTL) unveiled Tuesday in Morocco the world's latest innovation of the first electric pickup truck ever made.

The pickup truck is not only 100% electric, but is also 100% of Moroccan origin in terms of concept and Assembly, reports Moroccoworldnews.The creation, which took nine months to complete, was unveiled in SNTL's Centre in Marrakesh. The Center chose Engima, the Moroccan consultancy specialising in automotive engineering, to work on the development and production of the design of the electrical pick up.The prototype of the electric car was adapted to the Moroccan market and there are no power plants need to be able to be recharged. The pickup can be recharged in less than 7 hours in the comfort of your own home using a 220V socket, or in a single hour as a blower is used.Although designed, produced and assembled in Morocco, is the electric pick up in the first place meant to be sold in the European market. Later they also hope to make the switch to the Moroccan car market.
