Moroccan artists in solidarity with Saad Lamjarred

Several Moroccan artists have publicly their support and solidarity with the Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred after his arrest in Paris last month.

During a party for Moroccan artists last Monday at the national theatre of Mohammed V in Rabat, Moroccan singer Najat Rajoui asked the public to show solidarity with Lamjarred, to pray for his release and that he quickly innocent certified by the French court.After he was arrested for rape, left behind several well-known Moroccan artists like Dounia Batma, Ibtissam Tiskat, Othmane Mouline and Hatim Ammor their support for him through social media, reports Moroccoworldnews.Lamjarred's case is still in progress, the French lawyer Eric Dupont Moretti, one of three lawyers hired by the Moroccan singer to defend him, said last week "the process against the Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred is so far not yet scheduled"."The Board of lawyers of Lamjarred, which consists of myself, Brahim R and Jean Marc Fedida, is working on it to get a date for the hearing in the near future," said Moretti. "We urged the Court also insisted that the 20-year-old Laura Prioul will appear in court," he added.
