Strong link between Morocco and Madagascar since exile Mohammed V

In an interview with the weekly magazine Jeune Afrique, said Hery Rajaonarimampianina, the president of Madagascar, that the ties between his country and Morocco are very strong.

"Our links are very strong since the exile of Mohammed V in the years 50. And it is by the by building on this strong links that we want to build a common future, based on shared economic interests, said the Malagasy in an interview published in the latest issue of the weekly magazine Jeune Afrique.
Editor's Note: during the struggle for independence was by the French authorities exiled Mohammed V to Madagascar. There he would stay with his family for two years. In november 1955, he was recalled to Morocco under loud applause. After years of negotiations, the country was declared independent by the French. Mohammed V in 1957 did away the title sultan and would henceforth go through life as King of Morocco.
