Casablanca receives 1.2 billion dirham to municipal facilities to develop

Local governments will pay 6.3 billion from a 1.2 billion dirham dirham Fund for development (and renewal) of municipal facilities in Casablanca.

The development set up by King Mohammed VI in september 2014 project requires the investment of 33.6 billion dirham in the local economy-funded through a mix of local, State, and national sources in the course of 2015-2020.That amount will receive 650 million for renovations, road infrastructure underdeveloped areas will receive 100 million dirham to revitalize the local economy, the local branch of the national phosphate company will receive 100 million dirham , and coastal areas will receive an amount of 100 million for an upgrade.The projects are divided into four main issues: supporting the local economy and education, increasing the regional mobility, the restructuring of the industrial zones and restoring the identity of Casablanca as a national and international destination for trade and leisure.
