' Terror defendant had Netherlands on the eye '

In Germany is a Syrian asylum-seeker arrested, which would have Daesh asked for money for attacks. According to the German police there was a " not spelled out scenario for an attack " in Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France.

The arrest, which happened last Saturday in Saarbrücken, is announced Monday. The suspect is a 38-year-old man who came to Germany in december 2014. He asked last month via the chat service Telegram to someone from Syria to 180,000 Daesh in euro. Of that money he allegedly wanted to buy a vehicle and that full of about 500 kilograms of explosives. Then he would like to have the car in a crowd. There are no indications that he already possessed a prepared vehicle.

The man himself has admitted that he had contact with Daesh during trial, but he says he had no terrorist intentions.
