Lalla Salma Foundation: almost a million women screened (video)

The Lalla Salma Foundation for the prevention and treatment of cancer announced that it has achieved its goals. In the recent breast cancer awareness campaign have almost a million women responded to the call.

The recent breast cancer awareness campaign launched from 22 november to 16 december 2016 by the Lalla Salma Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of health, CAMERON and Roche has achieved its goal: 958,621 women between the ages of 40 and 69 were screened in public facilities.This is an exceptional increase in the participation rate in screening relative to the 2015 campaign that mobilized 500,000 women. This can be partly explained by the integration of a new age group (women aged 40-44) in the target group of the program.
