Agriculture: the season 2016-2017 is not at all affected

They state that the weather conditions the High Commission for Planning (HCP) has adjusted the growth forecasts down, this is now estimated at 3.6% this year.L'Economiste States that industry professionals are optimistic about the progress of the harvest year. The meteorological conditions are not very favourable at the moment, but this would have no effect on grains and no significant impact on fruit trees or livestock.The newspaper said that the situation is improving in different regions of the country with high grain potential. For example the region Casablanca-Settat, which alone accounts for a quarter of the seeded agricultural land, is doing well. Quoted by L'Economiste says the Regional Director of agriculture, Abderrahmane Naili, that "the situation is considered normal, and even if good for both cereals and industrial crops".
