Dutch mosques do door is locked during prayer

Four large mosques in the Hague, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Utrecht have decided to close the doors for the time being during all joint prayer. That should avoid people with evil intentions.

The mosques do this because they are very concerned about the safety of the visitors after the bloody attack on a mosque in the Canadian Quebec. A spokesman speaks of a rigorous measure, because the places of worship are always open to correct for everyone.

It comes to the As-Sunnah Mosque in the Hague, the Essalammoskee in Rotterdam, the Blue Mosque in Amsterdam and Omar Al Farouq Mosque in Utrecht. The mosque boards have jointly conducted emergency Monday, on which they have decided to the security measure.

Also the Council of Moroccan Mosques Netherlands (RMMN) spoke on Monday its concern over the safety of Dutch mosques.
