King put further steps for sustainable partnership with South Sudan (video)

King Mohammed VI is yesterday afternoon departed from South Sudan, where he was on an official visit.

Morocco and South Sudan signed a whopping 9 bilateral economic cooperation agreements. The Royal visit was also marked by a visit of the King to the field hospital of the Royal armed forces (RAF) in Juba, as part of a humanitarian mission for the benefit of the people of South Sudan. The King donated there, on behalf of the Mohammed VI Foundation, medical equipment for this field hospital and for the main hospital in Juba.The King also donated, again on behalf of the Mohammed VI Foundation, 267.5 tons of different food to southern Sudan. This donation also contained 70 tons of tents, 10 tons of blankets and 10 tons of cooking equipment for the South Sudanese people of the IDP (Internal Displaced People, refugees)camps.
