Spaniards get caught at border crossing Sebta who illegally smuggled money

Customs officers at the border crossing at Bab Sebta held Monday evening an attempt at 31,450 euro against smuggling, said a customs source.

During a check at the border crossing at Sebta names the Customs authorities seized the money amount of two Spanish citizens who live in Morocco and tried to get the money to smuggle illegally the border towards Sebta, without prior authorization of the concerned financial institutions, said the same source to Lefr360.

The seized money was hidden in the clothes of the two persons and hidden in a vehicle that is registered in Morocco.

There is an investigation into the circumstances around this currency movement to the necessary administrative and legal measures.
