Rabat is Africa's cultural capital in April

The Moroccan capital Rabat has been voted Africa's cultural capital.

The event will celebrate the African culture and will take place from 28 March to 28 April.The event will present to the public a variety of disciplines, from photography to street art, by means of concerts, film screenings, lectures and exhibitions, with contributions by artists from more than 30 African countries.The initiative is previously discussed by the King of Morocco during the 28th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, reports Moroccoworldnews.The names of the invited artists are not yet revealed, with the exception of the Malian artist Abdoulaye Konaté, which will be present and his work will be exhibiting at the Expression, thus Coordinator Brahim El Mazned.
