Saad Lamjarred facing third accusation of rape

Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred, who is in custody in France since October, is now accused of rape for the third time.

Saad Lamjarred was recently taken out of his cell, not to talk about his release, but to be able to be answered in a new case of alleged rape.

According to the French newspaper , the 31-year-old Moroccan singer heard on 14 February by researchers at the Criminal Investigation Department of the 1st District (DPJ). They came to include his statement after the new indictment, in november last year, by a 28-year old woman.

The victim, a French-Moroccan national who lives in France, said she had been raped by the famous singer in the spring of 2015, while she was on vacation in Casablanca. The young woman said that they have no complaint at the time of the incident because they are embarrassed. They also stated that they had finally decided to return to do after the indictment for rape and provisional detention of Saad Lamjarred in October 2016 (by another French nationals). But she pulled her complaint at the end of december in because of "heavy pressure" from family members. This prevented the researchers not to continue the investigations.

The alleged victim stated that she met Lamjarred in april 2015, during a private party held in Casablanca. Lamjarred would according to her under the influence of both alcohol and cocaine. He tried to kiss her in his own apartment, after they voluntarily agreed with him calling and keep him company.

The woman stated that Lamjarred violence against her used to the moment they drove off his sexual advances, he "tore her clothes and beat her in the face" to rape her before.

During his trial about this new indictment, the singer denied any involvement in this incident and said the young woman "never met".
