Morocco is committed against drug trafficking

The Directorate General of national security (DGSN) undertook in January and February 2017 various security operations in the fight against drug trafficking.

The operations have resulted in the seizure of 230,914 xtc pills. This large amount of ingested pills represent about half of the drugs that are found in the year 2016, reports the DGSN in a statement.

According to the same source, the increased amount of anaesthetics that get caught are to do with the more intensive surveillance and increased border controls. This find is also due to the good training police dogs to detect this type of drug.

In the fight against the increase of these drugs in Morocco DGSN has arrested drug dealers involved in 35 57 business of international trade of xtc. In the last year 240 suspects held for 146 drugs business.
