Six years in prison for leading youth detention in sale

The Court in sale condemned one of the seven minors, from youth detention on 26 February in Salé was escaped, to six years in prison.

The Court sentenced the youth prisoner with six years in prison because he is seen as the mastermind behind the escape. One other youth escaped prisoner gave up eight months of imprisonment, with a fine of 500 dirhams.

Both suspects were prosecuted for "escape from a place of detention, kidnapping and stabbing officers".

On 26 February the 7 prisoners escaped from youth detention in sale all within three days, after which they were arrested by the police in Rabat and Salé and the Royal Gendarmerie in Bouknadel.
