Frenchman sentenced to 4 years in prison on appeal in sale
The verdict was pronounced by the Court of appeal Wednesday evening in Salé and the Frenchman sees his punishment so reduced by two years.
Thomas, a 36-year-old engineer Gallay from southeastern France, was in October in Salé appeal. He is currently trapped in the same city.
He was arrested in February 2016 in Essaouira, where he was sentenced to six years in prison for "financial aid" to people who wanted to carry out terrorist acts. For further background information, you can read our previous news post .
