The Central Bureau of Investigation (BCIJ) yesterday arrested two persons suspected of involvement in Daesh in Casablanca, the Interior Ministry in a statement.

The Ministry reported that the two suspects were planning to carry out terrorist attacks in Morocco using explosives, and noted that the two suspects already were in possession of equipment used for the manufacture of explosives.

After the arrest, the authorities seized copper wires, an electric thermometer, batteries, a bottle with a suspicious liquid and a bag of powder, in addition to other equipment.

The suspects will appear in court after the Prosecutor finished with the investigation, said the Ministry.
