Germany wants to fine social media companies hate

Germany wants social media companies like Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat high fines if these networks fail to remove hateful messages within certain term.

The German Minister of Justice Heiko Maas has submitted a bill for that Tuesday.

In the new law contains rules how networks for social media to deal with hate talk and that the networks be required posts that violate the German laws, as fast as possible. Do Facebook or Twitter that is not fast enough, then the German justice can impose fines of up to 50 million euros. The Director of these companies can also get a personal fine of 5 million euros.

Facebook has not yet responded, Youtube though. The subsidiary of Google says to even better software to work that hate messages should automatically detect it.
