Dismantling of an illegal immigration network between Morocco and Spain

The Spanish Civil Guard dismantled last Wednesday an illegal immigration network between Morocco and Spain.

The members of this network kidnapped people and compressed ransom from their family. They demanded between 300 to 750 euro for their release.

The police operation called "Yarabi" was carried out over the past five months under the command of the Guardia Civil in Madrid with the collaboration of Cadiz, Huelva and Seville.  Fifteen people were arrested during the operation: eight in Huelva and seven in Huelva, Moguer, reports the Spanish news agency EFE.

At a press conference gave Ezequiel Romero, Lieutenant-Colonel Huelva's's Civil Guard, to that previous arrests during the investigation have taken place in the province of Cadiz.
