Mondelez Morocco renovates school canteens in rural areas

Mondelez Morocco's plan to renovate school canteens in rural areas has been completed.

The plan was launched in may 2014 and in recent years, a total of 10 school canteens renovated with a total budget of a million dirham, medias24 reports.

The third and final phase of this plan is just completed with the renovation of three school canteens. These include the Ait Taghla school canteen in the Azilal region, the T school canteen in the Nador region, and the de l'Heure Joyeuse canteen located at the headquarters of the Association in Casablanca.

The total of ten renovated school canteens are located in the regions of Asilah, Azilal, Casablanca, Demnat, Jerada, Ksar Seghir, Mohammedia, Nador, Ouarzazate, and accommodate more than 2400 Nouaceur and children with an average of two meals a day .

The renovation of each of these canteens was carried out in accordance with the specific needs of each establishment, in most cases it went to reconstruction; painting, carpentry and electricity.

Mondelez Maroc, a subsidiary of Mondelez International, is active on the Moroccan market since 2001. It produces popular brands such as Oreo, Bimo, Clorets, Trident, and Halls. It employs approximately 1,000 employees and has two factories in Casablanca.
