15% of the Moroccan couples suffering from infertility

A total of 800,000, or 15 percent of the Moroccan couples, suffer from infertility, including 30% of women, 30% of men and 40% of couples, said the Secretary General of the Moroccan fertility College (CMF), Rona Bachouchi.

Speaking at the opening of the national symposium on reproduction (AMP) under the heading "The AMP, between the legal framework and the limitations of the practice", Bachouchi stressed that this was a day for study and national meeting reflection on the need to the techniques of the AMP, who has 30 years of existence, to fit better.

"Apart from the legal aspect, insurance companies do not cover all expenditure of AMP," he said, adding that the health coverage is still insufficient to deal with fertility problems.
