A new basis for Air Arabia Maroc in Agadir

Air Arabia will open a sixth base in the Moroccan city of Agadir.

This base will be opened in cooperation with the national Office for tourism (ONMT), announced the airline in a statement.

It will enable Air Arabia Maroc "for the first time to offer new destinations that will interest both leisure and business travellers". The aim is also to point-to-point connections to fly on a regular basis throughout the year, the low-cost airline.

The new base will with effect from 1 October 2017 seven international airports go connect to Agadir, namely Munich, Cologne, Copenhagen, Dublin, Manchester, Stockholm and Toulouse. Tickets for these destinations, where twice a week on will be flown, will be sold for 70 euro from Europe and 699 dirham from Morocco, reports HuffPostMaroc.

"We are excited to launch a new base in Agadir and we are confident that this project will meet the needs of our passengers and will contribute to the development of the tourism sector in Morocco, "according to the President of Air Arabia, Adel Ali.

In anticipation of the opening of the base in Agadir, Maroc Air Arabia currently flies to 48 European destinations from 5 cities in the Moroccan Kingdom, namely Casablanca, FES, Tangier, Marrakech and Nador.
