King Mohammed VI meets Donald Trump possible Sunday in Miami

After six days in Cuba to be stayed is King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Lalla Salma and their two children Moulay Hassan and Lalla Khadija, yesterday traveled to Miami.

The news of the arrival of the King and his family in Miami was announced by Emilio Gonzalez, Director of the Miami Airport. He welcomed the family at the airport and placed a tweet (see photo attached to this article).

This is King Mohammed Vi's first trip to the United States after Donald Trump was elected president. According to the magazine Jeune Afrique, which brings out this information as first, the King will attend a lunch on Sunday organized by Trump. There is no official explanation given by the Moroccan royal family.

The visit to the United States comes a few weeks before the Security Council will vote on a new resolution to the mandate of the United Nations Mission in the Western Sahara, known as MINUSO, to renew it.
