Spain: 21 years imprisonment demanded for agent that Moroccan killed

The Spanish prosecutor has asked for a 21-year-old prison sentence for an agent of the Guardia Civil in april 2016 a Moroccan driver killed on a highway near FuentidueƱa de Tajo in the Madrid region, reported the Spanish media .

The Prosecutor considered the agent Angel Luis VJ, a 31-year-old Spaniard, responsible for the crime. The charge was murder with premeditation.

The Prosecutor also requested compensation for the widow and two children of the victim, €1,925 €145,000 for non-pecuniary damage and for the damage he has caused to his car.

The drama happened after a traffic accident on the A3 near Fuentidueña de Tajo where 2 cars were involved. The cars were driven by a 39-year-old Moroccan, Slimani Y., and the agent of the Guardia Civil.

When the officer, who was on sick leave due to mental problems, stepped out of the car after the traffic accident, he drew his service weapon and shot several bullets in the head of the victim.

The victim was killed instantly and the agent was arrested on the spot.
