Students volunteers work on improving schools in Settat
The students, linked to the
Tech Participation Development Club for students at the University of
Science and technology (FSTS) in Settat, divided from 21 to 23 april the work to the facilities of the first school to clean and renovate."The students are divided into different groups. Each group took care of a specific area of the school, "said El Brihim, President of the James club. "While some have painted the walls of the school, there were others assigned to gardening and forestry work."
The students also have collected books and a library at the school.
Founded in 2012 is the club focused on the development of educational and health facilities in rural areas around the city of Settat.
"The club is committed in order to achieve its goals through various activities, including roundtable discussions, seminars, workshops, cultural activities and solidarity events," Francis told El Brihim to Morocccoworldnews.
About 40 club members, all students at FSTS, took part in the improvement of the external and internal conditions of the school.
By the end of this school year are the volunteers of the club going to different activities, including a project in the month of Ramadan. The club strives to approximately 200 families with the primary needs that they need during this month.
