Lalla Salma will exhibition devoted to Picasso in the Mohammed VI-museum

Princess Lalla Salma will on May 15, a large exhibition devoted to Picasso in the Mohammed VI-museum open.

No less than 110 works of the artist (paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics) will be exhibited. The works are all from the Picasso Museum in Paris.

On 17 may, the doors of the Mohammed VI-15 days free for museum opened to the public. "We have opted for free access to the public to encourage more museums to visit," said Mehdi Qotbi, President of the National Museum Association in Morocco.

In the Picasso exhibition will be shown several masterpieces including the painting Barefoot Girl, one of the best paintings that were created in 1895, as well as the latest painting by the artist, a week before his death.

The exhibition runs until July 31.
