14 arrests in Tilburg at demonstration Pegida

The police Sunday in Tilburg fourteen people arrested at a demonstration of the anti-Islamic organization Pegida.

They include held due to disruption of public order. The defendants were sympathizers of the AFA (antifascist Action) that held a counter demonstration.

On the Willemsplein in Tilburg 30 sympathizers held a rally, after which they held a protest March through the city. The procession was accompanied by agents.

The opponents of Pegida had previously called for protest and resistance. They could on three other squares to avoid a confrontation between the two groups. However, the police finally had to intervene to keep the groups apart.
