Trump dismisses FBI Chief Comey

The American president Donald Trump has FBI Director James Comey Tuesday fired.

He decided to put on the advice of Comey on street Justice Minister Jeff Sessions and his substitute Rod Rosenstein, the White House announced.

The departure of Comey "marks a new beginning for our crown jewel of law enforcement," said Trump in a statement. Who will succeed him is yet unknown.

James Comey was appointed by president Barack Obama in 2013.
