Venezuelan passenger with 60 cocaine capsules in stomach picked up in Marrakech

A Venezuelan passenger is arrested at the international airport Menara in Marrakech for drug trafficking.

According to the news platform Hespress made the drug smuggler a stopover in Marrakech, he departed from Brazil and was on its way to Spain. He was arrested after a security screening, where during a routine check about 60 cocaine capsules in his stomach were found.

After he was struck in the cuffs, he is transferred to a hospital to remove the drug-filled capsules.

This operation is carried out within the framework of the efforts by Moroccan security services to combat cross-border crimes, especially the international drug trade.
