Agreement in principle for joining Morocco to ECOWAS

During the economic community of West African States (ECOWAS) Conference in Monrovia has an ' agreement in principle ' featured on the request by Morocco to take part in this trade union.

It was also decided at the Summit to King Mohammed VI to cordially invite you to the next ordinary session of ECOWAS, reports Moroccoworldnews.

The leaders of West Africa have so basically reached an agreement on the accession of the Kingdom of Morocco to ECOWAS, given the strong trade union and multidimensional ties of cooperation which connect with the States of Morocco this Sub-regional organization.

At the top is the ECOWAS Commission to examine the implications of this accession in accordance with the provisions of the revised ECOWAS Treaty and to submit the results at the next session.
