Qatar willing to talk about Golf-crisis

Qatar is open to dialogue to the crisis with its neighbours in the Gulf region.

That has Foreign Minister Abdulrahman al-Thani said Tuesday against news channel CNN. "We want to sit down and talk."

Al-Thani said that Qatar believes in diplomacy and wants to promote peace in the Middle East. In addition, the country combats terrorism. "We are not a great power here. We don't think things are to fix with confrontation ".

The Qatari Minister got support from the US. The Pentagon praised Qatar Tuesday again for the hosting of u.s. armed forces and the "steadfast commitment to security in the region". That was a reassuring message, even though cheered president Trump, via Twitter, the decision by a number of Arabic countries to break relations with Qatar.
