Ministerial delegation back in Al Hoceima

Their mission: an inventory of current development projects.

Several ministers and officials arrived this morning in Al Hoceima, reported a source of Lefr360 to the Government.

Led by Laftit Lakshmi, the Interior Minister, Aziz Rebbah, the delegation includes energy Minister, Kebba Charafat, State Secretary, Ministry of Water, Abdelkader Amara, Minister of transport and logistics and L Louardi, Minister of public health. Also Ali Fassi Fihri, Director-General of the national electricity and drinking water authority and Ilyas El Omari, Chairman of the Board of the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, were present.

Their mission is to make an inventory of the current socio-economic projects that are in development. Projects that will be viewed during this visit and an integral part of the development program include: the completion of the highway Al Hoceima-Taza, renewal of the drinking water system in the city of Al Hoceima and extension of the rural electricity network at the regional level. In addition one takes a look at the construction of the regional hospital centre and seawater desalination unit.
