Casablanca: Royal Air Maroc co-pilot died just before takeoff

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is in mourning following the death of a seemingly healthy young co-pilot who died just before take-off.

Mohamed Assabaane, only 27 years old, complained of pain in his chest, just before the flight AT 276 departed from the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca in the direction of Beirut. An ambulance was immediately sent to the still standing on the ground plane to provide medical help, reports Moroccoworldnews.

Unfortunately, the help came too late for Assabaane, father of a young child, and he was declared dead before he arrived in the Avicenna clinic where Assabaane was transported for treatment.

According to a media message traveled the RAM-president to the Hospital where the body of Assabaane was delivered and expressed his condolences to the family and said that all RAM-employees were sad by the loss.
