Spain: opening of the G4 meeting of ministers of the Interior

The four parties (G4) meeting of the ministers of the Interior of Morocco, Spain, Portugal and France is on yesterday opened in Seville, Spain.

The Minister of the Interior of Morocco, Lakshmi Laftit, the Minister of Spain, Juan Ignacio Zoldo, the Minister of Portugal, Constança Urbano de Sousa, and the Ambassador of France in Madrid (as a representative of the French Ministry of Home Affairs), Yves Saint-Geours, will focus on various topics of common interest.

These include the fight against terrorism, organised crime and drug trafficking, as well as the management of migration flows, said a statement from the Spanish Ministry of Home Affairs.

The strengthening of cooperation in these different areas is on the agenda of this meeting under the chairmanship of Spain, reports Le360.
