Moroccan Health Ministry suspends sale of hemorrhoids medication on

The Ministry of health has the sale of ' Proctolog ', a medication used to treat hemorrhoids, suspended after a French drug report for this drug has warned.

The French Agency for the safety of medicines and health products ' (ANSM) revealed that the drug dangerous and narcotic substances and has therefore called on the Moroccan Minister to suspend sales in Morocco, reports Moroccoworldnews. The Agency also reported that the effectiveness of the medicine was not proven and had an increased risk of allergies.

As a result, the Ministry on Monday evening announced that Proctolog from all pharmacies in the Kingdom must be delivered and warned all pharmacies in Morocco to sell the medication in the meantime.
