11 students will represent Morocco at International Mathematical Olympiad

The Ministry of education announced on Monday that 11 Moroccan students will represent the Kingdom during the 58th Annual International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO).

The League will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 12 to 23 July.

The students are from different regions of Morocco, Rabat-Sale, including Souss-Massa-Drâa-Tafilalet, Kenitra, Casablanca-Settat and Marrakech-Safi.

The 11 candidates are among the best young mathematicians in Morocco and were selected to represent the nation after an excellent performance on a national mathematics competition on 12 and 15 april in Rabat, gives Moroccoworldnews.

The Ministry added that the Moroccan State company ' Chérifiens ' the Phosphates Office (OCP) the travel fund will encourage students to international scientific competitions, regardless of financial conditions.
