Sale: 305 million dirham for the reconstruction of ' Souk ' Assalihine

The City Council of Salé has recently approved a partnership agreement for the reconstruction of ' Assalihine ' in the arrondissement of Tabriquet Souk for the estimated total cost of 305 million dirham.

' Assalihine ' Souk, where wood, furniture and scrap metal is sold, was almost totally destroyed by a large fire.

The rehabilitation and construction of this souk is funded by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs (185 million), the Council of the region of Rabat-Salé Kenitra (30 million), the Prefecture Salé (10 million), the national initiative for Human Development (NHRI) and the delegated authority (10 million).

Those involved in this project, which stretches over a period of 36 months from the date of signature of the agreement, will be responsible for the construction, the development of the shopping centre, the installation of roads and the development of green spaces, car parks, public squares and sports facilities in the local area, space for florists and alteration of the municipal networks.
