Morocco put grant in order to attract foreign film productions

The Moroccan Government has announced that it has adopted a draft decision in which a grant for foreign film productions that in Morocco, with the aim of doubling the number of productions.

This tax measure, which was adopted last Thursday, will enable the production companies in 20% of their expenditure during the recording of a movie or a series in Morocco, explained the Director of the Moroccan Cinematographic Centre (CCM), Sarim Fassi-Fihri.

Government spokesman Mustapha Regina, quoted by the Moroccan news agency MAP, welcomed the acceptance that "impact on the image of the Kingdom abroad, the attractiveness for foreign investment in the field and employment opportunities ".
