Marrakech: the national Carpet museum (Dar Si Said) will open its doors at the end of september
The museum contains over 400 carpets from all regions of the Kingdom, especially from the High Atlas, which represents the wealth of the Moroccan ancestral culture, the Foundation ended in a statement.
Dar Si Said in the second half of the 19th century was built on the initiative of Si SaÃ¯d b. Moussa, under the Regency of his brother Daniel Ba. Since 1957 is a part of the building open to the public and used as a museum.
The Dar Si Said museum is currently undergoing a renovation.
In addition, the National Museum Foundation announced that the National Museum of Ceramics in Safi will open its doors at the end of August 2017.
