Pilgrims from Qatar yet welcome in Mecca

Muslims from Qatar may still travel to Mecca for the Hajj, the annual pilgrimage that every adult Muslim must be performed once in his life.

Saudi Arabia sets the border with Qatar open to pilgrims, the Government announced.

Four Arab countries (Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Bahrain) have the ties with Qatar in June due to alleged support for international terrorism and close links to Shiite Iran.

Also, sanctions that can only be withdrawn if the Government of Qatar to a list of thirteen requirements. The countries want to, among other things, that the Government in Doha less close diplomatic relations with arch-rival Iran and news channel Al-Jazeera.

Qatar denies itself to be guilty and says the boycott is based on lies and nonsense.
