Meknes: compensation for woman after medical instrument at surgery in abdomen

The Court in Meknes ruled that the woman is entitled to a compensation of 350,000 dirham.

The Court in Meknes ruled that a woman is entitled to a compensation of 350,000 dirham after surgeons in an operation a medical instrument in her belly. The woman had to be operated on again by the pain after surgery in a private clinic in Rabat, reports the daily newspaper Al Ahdath.

The case dates back to March 2015, taking in a private clinic in Meknes her blind intestine was removed. Forgetting a medical instrument into the abdomen during the operation three months caused pain for the woman, before they discovered the reason for her discomfort.

The medical wrongdoing were proven following an expert assessment of three doctors on the orders of the Court.
