Two Moroccans try to reach Spain on a surfboard

The Spanish maritime rescue service yesterday looked a little surprised when they 2 Moroccans already floating on a surfboard.

The Spanish ship was for a rescue mission on the way to a boat with 11 migrants, when they by chance 2 guys on a surfboard found that tried to cross the Strait of Gibraltar. The boys were taken to Tarifa, which they themselves also were on their way, and were taken care of by the Red Cross, reports HuffPostMaroc.

The Moroccan authorities on the same day also got a surprise when they intercepted that two migrants with a kayak wanted to make the crossing to the Spanish coast. They were sent back to Moroccan territory.
