Indonesia puts pressure on Myanmar over Rohingya

Indonesia applies pressure on Myanmar to better protect the fleeing Rohingya.

The past few weeks have been such a 90,000 Rohingya from Myanmar fled to neighbouring Bangladesh, in Myanmar, they have hardly as minority rights. Later this week the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia travels to Myanmar to discuss a proposal on how Indonesia can help the Rohingya.

In Indonesia is protested to the Embassy of Myanmar. The protesters believe that the Government of Indonesia should take much harder against Myanmar. Indonesia has a large Muslim population and has been campaigning for a special State Rohingya in Myanmar.
