Decommissioning of large drug trafficking network in Italy

The drug trafficking network was active in Morocco and Europe.

The Italian police arrested 17 Moroccans during the dismantling of a large drug trafficking network that was active in both Europe and Morocco. Three of them were arrested in their home, reports the news medium Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.

This drug trafficking network consisted of Moroccans from Italians, Romanians and Philippines. Telephone recordings and images from surveillance cameras made it easier for the Italian authorities to the network.

According to the results of the police investigation were the drugs by the network traded in Turin and other Italian cities. These were transported from Morocco with coaches or from Tunisia with speed boats. The same network is also active in the illegal trade of cigarettes and the illegal sale of alcohol.
