Tangier: rescue just in time to rescue migrants from drowning
The rescue services in Tangier late yesterday rescued 11 sub-Saharan migrants from drowning. They tried to make the crossing to Europe, but were surprised by the rough sea. Their zodiac slammed by the high waves.
The luck was that they were not yet very far from the coast and their call for help was heard. Different rescue services were then mobilized to rescue the migrants who fought against the waves, reports Lefr360.
In total there were 13 sub-Saharan migrants, 2 of them I managed with difficulty to return to the beach, the other 11 were rescued by the rescue services.
