Oujda holds first Maghreb book fair

This first edition brings together about 200 intellectuals from the Maghreb, Europe and Africa together.

From 21 to 24 september in the city of Oujda the 1st Edition of the Maghreb book fair place. This first edition is under the patronage of King Mohammed VI and Senegal is the guest of honour of this important cultural event.

Poets, writers, storytellers, writers of plays or Visual Arts, regional institutions, publishing houses and distributors will collect at the book fair. There are various activities, workshops and round table discussions organized specifically targeted at young people.

There will also be three literature prizes will be awarded to young authors.

The Ministry of culture and communication and the Ministry of MRE's and Migration Affairs, support and participate in this event, as well as the Mohammed I University of Oujda and the French Embassy, in particular through the French Institute in Oujda.
