Daesh-terreurcel leader picked up in Zaventem
The leader of a Daesh-terreurcel that is responsible for recruiting and indoctrinating new members for terrorist movement Daesh, is picked up in Zaventem Belga news agency reported. It comes to a 26-year-old Spaniard of Moroccan origin according to the Spanish police.
The man was the last link in a Belgian network that also wanted to commit attacks in Belgium. He was one of the main suppliers of propaganda material. Itself he tried to travel twice to a conflict zone, but failed.
According to the Flemish broadcaster VRT, the Group was founded in 2014. In recent years, all three members would have been arrested by the Spanish police. Among them was also the brother of the man who now has been arrested. A fourth member was detained in Morocco.
Against the arrested man was a European arrest warrant, in the context of the international fight against terrorism.
