Experts gathered in Casablanca to discuss terror threat in Africa
Terrorism remains one of the "most important security challenges" of the 21st century, in the North African region, the Middle East and the rest of the world, said the Deputy Minister of the Interior Noureddine Bale during the forum in Casablanca.
At the opening of the Africa Security Forum 2017 said the Deputy Minister that "terrorist networks have reached an unprecedented level" and adds that the threat itself has become increasingly schommelender and more intangible.
The forum was attended by security experts from 40 African countries. There were 400 participants from several African Nations to discuss the security threats and ways of cooperation to investigate, reports the medium yabiladi.
The Deputy Minister recalled that terrorist cells in Morocco since 2002 175 were dismantled and more than 2900 people were arrested. The Deputy Minister also gave "to know that the level of cooperation between the Moroccan security services and their counterparts from various friendly countries and the degree of cooperation between them has taken place, with a perfect example of a partnership for the world ".
