Tangier: Court of appeal turns earlier recognition of illegitimate child back

The Court took a historic decision in January by a child out of wedlock.

The Court of appeal in Tanger declared Monday the previous judgement of the Court (in the same city) void. At this first judgement in January 2017 was Parenthood (Al Bounoua) recognized by an illegitimate child born.

The first judgment, that was seen as a historic moment, was given by the family court. Relying on a DNA test and condemned the biological father to pay 100,000 dirham damages to his daughter.

The Court of appeal has annulled this decision now and the mother of the child ordered to pay all legal costs, reports medias24.
